IBNetworks goes GREEN! |
|
| As a dynamic company IBNetworks has evolved yet again.
To celebrate 18 years in business a new logo has been designed which will
be the cornerstone of the new image for IBNetworks. It has been designed
to be instantly recognisable and it explains who we are and what we do.
The new logo will be phased in over the next months across all our communications with the pinnacle being the re-launch of our website on 1st June 2007. Look out for the new greener IBNetworks logo throughout the year in our exciting new marketing campaign. The 1st July 2007 also marks the full implementations of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive comes into effect. The WEEE Directive was brought about to increase recycling and reduce the amount of electronic waste ending up in landfills. But what does this mean to you? As an end user of telecoms and IT equipment the directive states that it is your businesses responsibility to disposal of your electronic waste. So when you upgrade to a new VoIP telephone system from IBNetworks you will have to dispose of your old telephone system in a safe way. IBNetworks now has the systems in place to dispose of your electronic
waste safely, for minimal cost to the customer and within the guidelines
set out in the WEEE Directive. For guidance on products that are caught by the Directive the European Commission has published a set of FAQ: http://www.dti.gov.uk/files/file30082.pdf |
